Swing Kitchen

"Most of our guests eat meat," the founders of "Swing Kitchen" know. So why do they come to a vegan burger restaurant anyway? Because the burgers are simply incredibly tasty!

Saving the climate has never tasted as good

Save animals’ lives and protect the climate with every burger, menu, wrap and nugget – a good thing! But is this really the reason for the success of "Swing Kitchen", from Vienna to Berlin and Zurich? Sure, but not the only one! Because even die-hard carnivores have a weak spot for the smells and sights that greet guests here. And at the latest, when you look at the menu, it becomes clear: Vegan is anything but boring. Welcome to "Swing Kitchen" on Zurich’s Limmatquai, the address for savory, plant-based treats.

What do the guests order, what does the chef love?

We quote from the website: "The Pink Burger is our homage to the Viennese Schnitzel. Crispy breaded soy Schnitzel dances the waltz with vegan cheese, fruity cranberry mayonnaise, fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes." The Zurich chef treats himself to this burger whenever the grill and stove can manage without him. Even written it sounds great! And what’s a real hit with the guests? "Our all-time favorite," he reveals. "The Swing Burger with a succulent soy patty with smoky BBQ sauce, crisp salad, fresh tomatoes, gherkins and large roasted onions." ROOAARR!

The star of the menu: "Fried Onion Burger" - an Oklahoma classic with a 100-year history.

Restaurant Silex

"Silex is a modern European restaurant with a wine focus in Zurich-Wiedikon" – that’s how the founding trio describes their pet project on the website. A charming understatement. What the three of them have created is world class.
