The core of the pumpkin
The Jucker family has lived in Seegräben for more than 100 years. The development of the farm in its current form only began when the two brothers, Martin and Beat Jucker, took over the farm, though. At the end of the 1990s, they discovered the pumpkin as a successful product pretty much by chance and created their own pumpkin show. What followed was an incredible story with considerable numbers of enthusiastic customers that continues to this day.
Today, the "Jucker Farm" consists of four different farms, each with a farm store, and two farm restaurants. Different experiences are offered depending on the location, such as a nature playground, a "Geisslipark" – a petting zoo with goats – as well as gardens with produce that visitors can pick themselves and a maze.
The "Jucker Farm" is also a well-known venue for corporate events and seminars.
Trip to the countryside
The farm stores in Seegräben, Jona, Rafz and Kloten offer everything the nature-conscious heart desires, all seasonal and fresh from the fields: depending on the season, fruit, berries, asparagus, pumpkins and much more. A large share of the products are prepared into high-quality products in the HofManufaktur – the farm’s manufactory – and also sold in the farm stores. Many of the products are also available to order online. The "BuureZmorge" farmers’ breakfast event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays in Seegräben and Jona. It is legendary and always gets booked out quickly.
Another highlight is the pumpkin show in the fall, which is a colorful feast for the eyes and has different themes each year. Its program has various focal points, such as the pumpkin carving festival and the Swiss pumpkin weighing championship.
