«Didi’s Frieden», Zürich
Whether on the terrace or in the winding restaurant, “Didi's Frieden” is a place where you can relax over lunch.
Find peace at lunchtime
Whether on the terrace or in the quirky restaurant, “Didi's Frieden” is a place where you can switch off at lunchtime. You can start your meal with a simple course such as a gazpacho andaluz or mixed leaf salad, but you can also order beef tartare or a portion of ravioli (delivered by Patrizia Fontana for years).
Culinary peace can be found at Frieden
The main courses represent the typical style of the house, which regular guests have also enjoyed in the evenings since 2006 (with a glass of wine, of course): how about homemade sausage from the Wangen summer venison with egg sponge cream sauce? Combined with broccoli salad and quark spaetzli? Or instead a Wiener schnitzel of Zurich pasture-fed veal with potato and cucumber salad? Even if owner and wine enthusiast Didi Bruna is now stepping back a little at the stove - thanks to head chef (and hunter) Markus Furtner, culinary peace is still easy to find.
