The menu at “Hellys” is not large. But more importantly: one pasta dish tastes better than the next!

Classics from Rome

Paccheri with an aromatic, hearty, fruity-sweet tomato sauce in the legendary “Da Vittorio” style. An exemplary plate of spaghetti cacio e pepe - the classic from Rome with the creamy sauce made from Pecorino Romano, black pepper and a little pasta water, which tastes like much more than the sum of its ingredients. Or Ziti Corte Genovese with beef shoulder, onion and white wine.

Super location in the middle of Bern

The rest of the menu is also fairly simple: leaf salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as a starter, “Fior di latte” soft ice cream with raspberry or Bonet - a flan with amaretto, cocoa and a little coffee - as a dessert to finish. The restaurant's location is ideal for people who have to catch a train afterwards: At a brisk walk, the platforms are less than ten minutes away from Schwanengasse.
